A swim aid, not a life jacket. Always stay within arm's reach.

Upright, not tipped forward

Float spread across the torso holds a natural swim position.

UPF sun protection

Rash-guard fabric over torso and arms for long days outside.

Full-length front zipper

Fast on, fast off. Big kids manage it themselves.

How it works

The float comes out as their skill comes in

Foam sticks sit inside the suit and pull out. You decide how much help your child gets, and you turn it down as they get stronger. One suit carries them through the whole learning curve.

Stage 01

All sticks in

Maximum lift for a brand-new swimmer who still won't let go of the wall. They float upright and level, and they feel it working.

Full float

Stage 02

Some sticks out

Less help, more work. They start carrying their own weight and finding their balance without really noticing the handover.

Half float

Stage 03

All sticks out

Just a great UPF swimsuit now, and they're swimming in it on their own. Same suit they started in.

No float

Why not just use arm bands?

FloatPals

Fit

Find the right size

Go by height and weight before age. Between sizes? Size up — but keep it snug. A loose float suit rides up in the water and pushes the foam off-centre.

Before you buy

Questions parents ask

Do the foam sticks really come out?

Yes. They pull out of the suit, so you can start at full buoyancy and step it down as your child improves. Put them back in any time.

What size should I get?

Go by height and weight rather than age, and size up if your child is between sizes. Snug — never tight, never loose.

Does it protect from the sun?

The torso and arms are UPF-rated rash-guard fabric. Keep using sunscreen on face, neck, hands and feet.

How do I wash it?

Pull the sticks out first. Rinse in cool water after every swim and hang to dry. No machine drying — heat destroys swim fabric.

Can we use it for swim lessons?

Yes, and many parents do. Check with your instructor first — some lesson programs want kids in the water unaided.

What if it doesn't fit?

Send it back within 30 days for a full refund. No restocking fee. Trying it on at home is expected — just keep it out of the water.
